Have Game, Will Play: Boom Ball for Kinect Review

Boom Ball for Kinect from Virtual Air Guitar Company lets you destroy and smash blocks in a wide variety of locations through 50+ levels. The trailer I saw prior to playing looked fast, fluid and accurate. The game itself doesn’t feel as polished. I felt like the kinect could not see my hands and track them unless I stood in an awkward position. The ability to adjust the height would be great and would likely change my perspective on the game. Boom Ball for Kinect has its moments but the lack of accurate tracking made hitting very specific blocks or sections of the levels more tedious than it should be.
