Have Game, Will Play: Fez on PS4

Fez is a pure puzzle platformer. There’s no combat, no enemies, no death penalty and no time limit. It is a game that encourages exploration and cooperation with others(playing concurrently or previously). Fez is about a world that needs to be rebooted. However the only person who knows that is getting old and must pass on his abilities to another.

An elder gives his ability to rotate the world, currently seen by all in 2 dimensions, to a youth named Gomez. As Gomez, you must travel around the world and find cube fragments, maps, keys and anti-cubes. On top of the cube collection there is an entire written language within Fez that can make the aforementioned activity easier in addition to opening up the many of the game’s secrets.

Fez is a game that really benefits from that old school playground rumor mill. People playing and sharing their experiences with it really make the game shine. It can be played as a strictly solo affair but what game isn’t better when discussed and enjoyed with others?
